Statement of Faith
The Holy Bible is the Word of God
We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is fully inspired by God and without error in its original manuscripts. It is the final and supreme authority in all matters of faith, doctrine,
and daily life.
Scripture References: 2 Timothy 3:16–17
There Is Only One God
We believe in one eternal, almighty, and perfect God who exists as one divine essence,
eternally abiding in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God is the Creator of all things,
both visible and invisible.
Scripture References: Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 1:16
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is both truly God and truly man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. His death on the cross is the only means by which humanity can receive forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God.
Scripture References: John 1:1,14; Matthew 1:18–23; Acts 4:12
The Fall of Mankind
We believe that humanity was created with free will and that the Fall, through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, brought spiritual death and separation from God. As a result, all people inherit a sinful nature and
are in need of redemption.
Scripture References: Genesis 3:1–19; Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23;
Church Ordinances
We believe in the ordinances of Water Baptism and Communion. Water Baptism symbolizes the believer's death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ. Communion is a memorial of Christ’s death and resurrection
and a proclamation of His return.
Scripture References: Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
Baptism of the
Holy Spirit
We believe in the regeneration of believers by the Holy Spirit and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. While salvation comes through Christ alone,
the baptism of the Spirit empowers believers for their divine purpose.
Scripture References: Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; 1 Corinthians 12:7–11
Sanctification
We believe sanctification is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, setting believers apart unto God.
It is not achieved through human effort, but through faith in Christ’s sacrifice and obedience to God’s Word. Holiness is God’s nature, not human perfection.
Scripture References: 1 Thessalonians 4:3–7; John 17:17; 1 Peter 1:15–16
The Church and
Its Mission
We believe that the Church is called to fulfill the Great Commission: to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them to obey Christ’s commands. Through transformed lives, spiritual gifts, and love, believers are to share the Gospel with the world.
Scripture References: Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:14–15;
The Mission Within
the Church
We believe the Church is a spiritual family in which members are called to edify one another in love. God has given specific ministry gifts—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachersto equip believers for
maturity and service.
Scripture References: Ephesians 4:11–13; 1Thessalonians 5:11; Hebrews 10:24–25
Marriage
We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a lifelong covenant, a sacred bond between
one man and one woman.
It is publicly entered into before God and officiated by an ordained pastor.
Scripture References: Matthew 19:4-6;
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Divine Healing
We believe in divine healing as a vital expression of the Gospel. God’s Word is confirmed by signs,
wonders, and healing, demonstrating His power and compassion for His people.
Scripture References: Mark 16:17–18;
James 5:14–16; Matthew 10:1
The Blessed Hope
We believe in the “blessed hope”—that those who have died in Christ will be raised from the dead and will live forever with the Lord. This promise offers comfort and joy to all believers.
Scripture References: 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Titus 2:13;
The Prophetic Future
We believe in the coming millennial reign of Christ, the final judgment, and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth.
We look forward with hope to the eternal kingdom where righteousness dwells.
